I have been so worried about Andrew at Scout Camp with all of the storms and rain that have been happening since he went out on Sunday. Then, a Scout leader sent this picture and my heart melted. Leave it to my kid to be smiling, arms out wide, and embracing the rain. I love his view of life!!
I did sneak some pumpkin cookies in for Jim for Father's Day yesterday. He may have to fight William off for them though!
Happy Father's Day to Jim. The boys are lucky to have such an involved Dad, who is willing to spend his day taking Andrew out to camp and getting him set up for the week.
A sweet boy working on a sweet Father's Day card (and a continual sign that my "organize the office" task is taking much longer than I thought! Too much stuff/Too many piles!!).
This was on my Happier calendar that Susie has gotten me the last few years. I thought this was very true. I'm grateful to have had a clean mammogram this week, but am always challenged by my chronic back pain from radiation. I need to remember to celebrate the good days.
Andrew cracks me up. He had my phone at the pool and took some pictures Andrew style. My favorite has to be the photo he took and made look "old" of his Dad :)
Had a great night with Mom - we ate dinner, played games, and headed out to a craft store. There was quite a storm while we shopped and we came out to a glorious sight:
