This note on William's school stuff made me laugh the other day. William had a late start (9:35) on Thursday, so we didn't see him before we all left for work/school. William had agreed to give his friend a ride to school and must have been worried he wouldn't remember...

Andrew swam well again this week - finishing first in his IM and free relay. We don't know the placement of the 50 free, but he looked good :)
We decided to try a new cabin at Fillerwarth in Okoboji - it is a bit bigger with an even more spectacular view of the lake. Excited for my first week long vacation since last Memorial Day week!
When you step away from the computer for a few minutes and return to one of your children (neither will fess up) having pulled up a video called "I Only Said "Yes" To My Kids for a Week" Made me laugh, but no go for them!
Nearly every Sunday, we go to the Grocery Store as a family. I love it - we get to teach the boys about finding good deals and picking out food, but we also get to hang out together doing boring, normal stuff. I'm going to miss it. I woke up this morning and it hit me that I'll have two high schoolers in just a few months. I have never felt like time was moving too fast until recently. It can slow down now! (They did not love that I took this picture today!)
Jim and I drove to Wayne State College today to support Andrew in his second Science Bowl. His team didn't have the same success as last year, but proud of him for his team work and crazy smart brain. Andrew's highlight would again be the lunch they got in the college cafeteria.
William had today off of school. He picked Andrew up from Swim Practice for us since Jim and I had to go to Scott's mom's visitation. We came home to them playing together. Remain so glad that one year ago we converted this room - they use it all the time!
Dinner and Book Store date with my boys tonight. We went to a burger place that ended up having free bingo. We played two hands and didn't win, but had fun. Treasuring these incredible kids!
