This one had today off of school - I came home about 4:45 and found him like this. Taking a two hour cat nap in the boys' chair. I will NEVER tire of seeing my sweet ones sleep.

My amazing practicum student - Emily - finished at ALSITH this week. I'm very sad to see her go. She left me feeling very touched when she gave me a thank you gift.
Today I spent most of the day doing my every-five-year gastric emptying study at the hospital. When they gave me an hour break (it is about five hours from start to finish), I went to the nearby Zurinsky Lake and took a walk in the beautiful Spring weather. A wonderful break and left me feeling very peaceful.
I am back to afternoon carpool duty this week. The boys are more talkative in the afternoon than mornings too. Today I was actually second in the carpool line - a first (and most likely only!) time!
So the start to the day was rough - our ALS Omaha walk was freezing and pouring rain. Andrew was sweet enough to go with me and ways a HUGE help! He and I had an hour to warm up and change before an evening mass where the boys were recognized as altar servers and then had a pizza dinner celebration. Proud of them - as usual.
It was time to use some Groupons with our good friends - we had a fun night trying new places in Omaha.
