Andrew getting ready for his first day of 8th grade tomorrow - so hard to believe. And, I survived the longest Dairy Queen line ever on my way home from work to bring the boys celebratory ice cream for their first week back to school.

A calm night at home and AGT show watching with my cuddling boys. See Andrew's head on William? My heart explodes!
A full day for William! His first full day at school, followed by a 5-9 life guarding shift at night. Proud of him and excited for his new year!
Today was a big day. William had his 10th grade registration this morning and then we went to open him his own checking account!! Then, Andrew got some new braces and had his registration at school. Sophomore year and 8th grade - here they come!
William was getting all organized for school - he starts on Tuesday and registers for his classes tomorrow morning. He is such MY kid. Look at that labeling and color coding!
I was so tired last night that I headed to bed early after the pool and then watching the Chiefs lose their preseason game. Early to bed made for a beautiful, quiet morning in our backyard. I sat and read by my fountain in our new glider for awhile. A full day ahead with no set plans - bliss!
Heading home from work a bit early today after a 7:00am start. This is the walkway from Children's to Methodist on my way to the Parking Garage. Enjoying this new life chapter so much! Really a great move for me.
My work can be pretty amazing - a Target gift card for over two years without a serious safety event!
