![]() Today felt a bit more normal, although not sure why. Jim is home and that makes Andrew a happy boy. He is still loving Vacation Bible School in the mornings and I'm lucky that I have such a flexible job. I have been dropping him off, going to work for a couple hours, and then coming back to get him. Tonight I did go back to work after dinner (Andrew requested salmon and watermelon) and got a lot done. 10:33pm and all is quiet here. Everyone is looking forward to getting William home this weekend though! ![]() I snapped this shot tonight as I was heading out to work after dinner. He was in heaven eating his frozen yogurt out of a cup, sitting in his Daddy's chair, and watching his I Pod Touch. Such a cute kid!

![]() Today it sure seemed like Andrew was missing his Daddy. Lots of "What time will he get home?" questions for me. The other night he had come to find me saying that he thought he heard Daddy cough and was sad when he remembered Jim was here. So sweet. Jim is back from camp and William is doing great. Just three more days until Family Night and I get to see him! Here is a picture from last week at the Wahoo playground. So cute! I asked Jim to take a couple pictures of William while he was there at camp. Here's a couple sweet ones he sent. I am missing William around the house - it's too quiet and it feels like something is really missing. So glad though that he is having a great time!
Such an odd start to the week - I think both Andrew and I are feeling out of sorts without his Daddy and his big brother. But, we forged ahead with Vacation Bible School, a bit of work, and an afternoon playdate for Andrew with his friend Evan (whose big brother is sharing a tent with William at camp). Here's a shot of Andrew and Megan heading into VBS and also one of the sweet note Andrew wrote for his package to William (he wrote while I was driving - hence the bad handwriting):
Today was a big day - Father's Day celebrating for Jim and William's first week of Boy Scout camp starting today. Here's a shot of Jim with his boys: And, here's a shot of William with his HUGE backpack and one Jim sent of William with his friend Dylan in their tent:
It feels like we have had weeks of being on the go, so even though we were packing William for camp and running errands, the day felt a bit more leisurely than most. The boys indulged in some water balloon fights and Andrew stole my reading spot!
Today was a bit of everything - work, Summer Program, getting William ready for camp, yard work, making dinner, making lunches, and more. Some pictures from the night:
