William had today off from school, so when I went to bed after a LONG Thursday of work, getting Andrew to his Creighton Prep math placement exam, grabbing Andrew some last minute Scout clothes for camp this weekend and then my work bowling event, I left William playing on the XBox with his friends. He was having a blast after having been over to a friend's earlier in the night.

Tonight I joined some Social Work team members at a Children's event raising funds for the March of Dimes for premature babies. We had a great time and I couldn't believe my luck when I broke 100 (at least for the first game). Fun night!
Last night after Taco Tuesday dinner, the boys and I headed outside. I needed to go to the library, William wanted to play basketball at Saddlebrook and Andrew wanted to meet Jacob on the playground. We all loved the sun and 50 degree temps and no one played their phones - we just had a really great time!
I left work early to grab Andrew from school and meet William at their doctor's for their annual physicals. The topics have definitely changed - today it was about acne and school with their doctor. And then, Andrew drove off with William while I ran an errand on the way home. Times are changing! Still love that they go in together and are fine with me being there :)
Finished this good, easy book tonight. I really liked it! I'm currently rereading 1984 for my SVdP Book Club and reading a 700 page book "Goldfinch" for my main book club, so I needed something fun and quick!
A relaxing day at home (we went to mass last night) and making the boys grilled cheese for lunch - reminds me of what I would make them when they were elementary age :)
Out early on a cold Saturday morning with Andrew collecting "Scouting for Food" donations. He and I think this is our fifth year helping out with this cause. Proud of him for always volunteering. William was as well and is now one of the "older Scouts" who helps load the trailer at HyVee all morning. I missed having him with us, but touched he continues to volunteer too!
When I ran into Hobby Lobby this week for some work supplies, I found myself laughing at this perfect aisle display for Mom!
While on a conference call for work, I'm assembling thank you craft tokens for the 30th Anniversary of the Children's Advocacy Team (CAT). I really can't believe I get to be a part of this incredible program!
Most likely my final night of carpooling these two for Religious Ed. They have made me smile for five years as they chatter back and forth. Jenna is a sweet girl and I'm grateful to her family for all these years of sharing drive time on Wednesday nights!
