As I dropped Andrew off at his Scout meeting, he told me to check out the chalk board in the basement. How sweet his he?!
This little one came into our bedroom last night carrying Teddy due to a nightmare. He let me lead him back to bed saying how he was worried about "us." So sweet. And hard to wake up this morning :) Date #6 with William - We spent the evening down at the ballpark watching Creighton. Great night with my great boy!! Date #5 with William: Bowling, Go-Carts, and Games. I had to pick William up early from school for his orthodontist appointment, and we took advantage of the extra afternoon time to go on our date. We played three rounds of bowling, he talked me into riding a go-cart for the first time, and played so many games. And, of course, he got prizes for Jim, Andrew, and me too. Of course, the night also included soccer practice, football practice, and Boy Scouts. Whew! Tired and blessed tonight! And here is my soccer player - he really seems to be enjoying playing on his first team in six years. William played his first two football games of the year and got TDs in both and his team won both games. Love watching my boy play something he loves! Date #4 with Andrew - Ice Cream! And, he shares that he would love to be a judge or a person who learns people's feelings by showing them ink blots when he grows up :) What a difference a day makes. William is recovered enough to get me on April Fools Day ("I did horrible on my NESA test Mom - like really bad....Gotcha!") And go on Date #4 - Dairy Queen Dessert! |
