The night before the big day, we had family over to celebrate Andrew's Confirmation. Here are a couple pictures:
Getting ready for Andrew's big weekend! Nine years of preparing have lead to his Confirmation and we are so happy for him. Andrew picked out this cake (and the blue color!).
William volunteered to give blood today at Creighton Prep. He said it went fairly well - just got a little faint once they were done He wore his sticker as long as he could.
So, it happened! William had to take me to work today (my van is getting repaired). He then picked me up to take me to Andrew's swim meet. Talk about a role reversal! I'm a fan of his car's sun roof!
William got a new "lap desk" for his room. He is using it every night, so it must work well. He studies so hard this year (without our prompting). Proud of him.
Andrew shared some stickers with me and placed them on my hand. Hours later, they still make me smile. (And, MORE figure skating! The Olympics make figure skating a part-time job!)
Last night (after the long robotics day), Jim and I went with Jeff & Lisa to watch Creighton play basketball. Our seats were high, but we had a great time.
Andrew amazes me! We spent all day at the SAC museum for the annual Robotics tournament and I'm so proud of him and his two teammates coming in second of 42 teams. He loves Robotics and has made some really good friends over his three years at Davis in Robotics.
